Our Closet Design Process
Choosing the right closet design and company for your home or office is an important decision. You want to be assured you’re working with professionals that understand your aesthetics and functionality needs. When you contact us, we’ll explain our entire design and installation process to you as well as arrange for a Free in-home consultation with one of our trained professional closet designers to come to your home or office for a free personal consultation.
Create More Space & Wall Beds Plus can help you with a variety of home closet organizational ideas for walk-in closets, Reach-in, Master Closet or Boutique Closets.
We have designed a personal questionnaire to meet each of your needs.
The Initial In-Home Consultation, Step-by-Step:

1.
Your designer will bring design tools to help you with your decision-making process, including a portfolio, brochures, material, and hardware samples.

2.
You and your designer will discuss your closet design interests and needs, and you will receive a detailed overview of the entire Closet Organizing Systems process.

3.
During the visit, your designer will view your existing space to get a full sense of the dimension and style in the room, and to take measurements for custom renderings. If your project involves multiple closets, each closet design will have its own complete rendering.

4.
All your wants and needs regarding your closet system will be documented by your designer during the closet viewing. We will cover such topics as:
- What is your biggest frustration with your current space?
- What do you like/dislike most about it?
- What are you trying to accomplish with your new closet system?
- What types of materials do you need to store?
- Are you looking for more hanging space, shelf space, or both?
- Are you looking to hide or display items, or both?
- What accessories can we add to maximize all your available walls?

5.
After reviewing your space and needs, we will create a drawing layout of your new closet system using specialized CAD software. Our designers will offer their expertise as they collaborate with you to ensure that your closet design meets all your tastes and needs.

6.
After the CAD drawing is complete, your designer provides you with a formal quote and potential installation dates to help you in your decision-making process.

7.
Larger more involved custom designs may require working under a design retainer arrangement.

8.
For your convenience you can secure a scheduled installation date upon the acceptance of the project and signing your contract paperwork.
