Our Story
Wall Beds Plus was created in 1995 by Jerry Headley and has crafted over 10,000 Murphy Beds and other cabinetry for customers in The Villages and surrounding areas.
Always run as a personable family business Wall Beds Plus soon gained a reputation for customer satisfaction and exceptional quality.
In 2018 Mr. Headley's daughter and husband were ready to retire after taking upon her father’s business for the last 8 years business.
Julissa and Manuel Arteaga were looking for a new adventure.
Manuel had worked for 15 years in the restaurant industry in many roles from General Manager to a multi-unit area coach and other fields. Julissa was a Bank Relationship Manager, with her carrier experience and obtaining her Business Bachelor’s degree and homemaker with a passion for interior design.
Now with their young girls off to school and the new baby girl to the family, they decided it was time to realize their dream of owning their own business. After checking out many options, they walked into the showroom of Wall Beds Plus in The Villages, Florida and instantly fell in love with the company.

The boundless energy and drive, which helped Manuel succeed in the competitive restaurant business, are now powering Wall Beds Plus The Villages and our sister company Create More Space into an era of innovation.
Julissa, a self-confessed neat freak, brings a love of beauty and harmony to all their designs.
