Since first opening our doors for business in 1995, Wall Beds Plus has crafted and installed over 5,000 Murphy Beds in The Villages and surrounding areas. We are not a dealer or franchise but a second generation, family owned business. Our success, longevity and reputation have been based on solid business principles and customer satisfaction. We realize that every space and project is unique, and will be given the proper attention it deserves. Whether it is a project on a tight budget or a project that has the finer touches, we will create a solution that is tailored to your desires – guaranteed!
So what’s the “Plus” in our name? Plus means a whole lot more like entertainment centers, storage cabinets, drop-down desks as well as solutions for the laundry room, garage, mudroom and any other room that needs sprucing up.
If you need some inspiration for your project, we invite you to visit the Products section of our website and please come by and see our showroom for a demonstration of a variety of solutions that can work in your home.
A Florida native, Jason has called Ocala home for almost 40 years. He received his degree in Merchandising from Atlanta’s prestigious Bauder College. Since graduating he has held a variety of positions in the real estate industry, most notably Jason has been a real estate venture capitalist, buying and building homes, decorating them with the finer touches and selling them. During his free time Jason enjoys fishing, golf, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
Born in Ohio, Mindy and her family moved to Ocala back in 1985 and attended Forest High School and the University of Florida. She worked in human resources for Macy’s, then went on to help her father Jerry at Wall Beds Plus. Mindy also received her Real Estate license and works with Jason buying and selling homes, offering her interior design expertise. She loves being a mom, reading, exercising, playing with Bentley, traveling, and mentoring high school and college youth as a leader at church. Mindy is obsessed with decorating and design, and is addicted to HGTV.
It was not long after Jason and Mindy rescued Bentley in early 2013, that he was promoted to the showroom mascot. Bentley is a fun loving and jolly Labradoodle who loves a good scratch, long naps, a game of fetch and if there is a lake or pool nearby he gets just plain silly.
Juan Leiva heads our manufacturing process and has been working in the cabinet industry almost his entire life, helping his dad who was a master cabinet maker. He has been making cabinets for Village residents for over 25 years. Our cabinets are manufactured using a state of the art CAD operated CNC machine. These types of machines are extremely precise and they minimize mistakes because the CAD renderings used during the design process are also used in the manufacturing process.
